A Central Bureau of Investigation team from Delhi is in Mumbai to investigate the Institute of Banking Personnel Services' role in the leakage of the Common Admission Test paper.
CAT, the only way to get into the six Indian Institutes of Managements and a few other management schools, was cancelled on Sunday after CBI uncovered a leak of its question paper.
A team, headed by a superintendent of police arrived in Mumbai on Wednesday.
"The team will be concentrating on the role of IBPS, which has been printing the CAT question paper for over a decade now, and is likely to question some of the IBPS staff soon," a CBI official said in Delhi.
With the CBI chief giving a clean chit to the Indian Institute of Management -- Ahmedabad, which conducts the test, the focus of investigations is now on IBPS.
The functioning of the IBPS is already under scrutiny. Apart from CAT, IBPS prints papers for over 200 other examinations.
"The team is working in close coordination with the local CBI authorities and police," the sources added.
