A Delhi court on Monday framed charges against senior Indian Police Services officer R K Sharma and five others in
connection with the murder of journalist Shivani Bhatnagar.
Holding that the accused had conspired to murder Shivani after she threatened to ruin R K Sharma's life and career, Additional Sessions Judge J M Malik charged the six accused under section 120 (b) (conspi
racy) read with section 302 (murder), 201, 403 and 404
of the Indian Penal Code.
All the accused pleaded not guilty.
The court fixed March 20 for commencement of submission of prosecution evidence.
