A day after the arrest of its chairman Yasin Malik and two of his close associates, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front on Friday said it will continue its signature campaign.

The outfit had launched the campaign on Wednesday to ascertain the role the people of Jammu and Kashmir wanted to play in any dialogue between India and Pakistan.

"Our will is strong and we will continue the state-wide signature campaign despite hurdles the government has put up by arresting our leaders," JKFL spokesman Tahir Ahmad Mir said.

Mir said the campaign was going on in 'full swing' throughout the state, including the summer capital Srinagar.

Police had arrested Malik, his deputy Javed Ahmad Mir and senior leader Noor Mohammad Kalwal at Heller village of Kokernag in Anantnag district on Thursday in the midst of their signature campaign. They were later remanded to five days judicial custody.
