India on Thursday agreed to hold two-day expert-level talks with Pakistan from August 27 on resumption of air links between the two countries, severed after the terrorist attack on Parliament on December 13, 2001.

India's decision has been conveyed to Pakistan, an External Affairs Ministry spokesman said in Delhi.

Pakistan had on Wednesday suggested two sets of dates – August 27-28 and September 3-4 - for holding talks.

The road link between India and Pakistan has been restored, but rail and air links are yet to be resumed.
