Pakistan High Commissioner Aziz Ahmed Khan on Thursday presented his credentials to President A P J Abdul Kalam at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi.

He later suggested restoration of strengths of their respective missions in the two countries to the level that existed before December 13 terrorist attack on Parliament.

He also expressed Islamabad's readiness to go alongwith India's step-by-step approach for normalising bilateral ties.

He added there were certain areas where 'faster action can be taken'.

Khan reiterated that Pakistan "is prepared to hold talks at any place, any level and at anytime."

"As far as Pakistan is concerned, it has been frequently repeated that we are ready for a meaningful, composite dialogue which tackles all issues," he said.

India had reduced the strength of its mission in Islamabad by 50 per cent in the aftermath of the December 13 terror attack on Parliament and Pakistan had followed suit.
