A group of 21 Indian children arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday on a three-week tour of Pakistan.

The children, mostly teenage girls, are here as part of an exchange programme arranged by 'Seeds for Peace', a US-based non-governmental organisation.

The children will stay with Pakistani families to get a first-hand feel of life in the Islamic country.

They will attend a dinner hosted by the American consulate general and participate in various Independence Day programmes.
