When West meets East...

It's not only Bollywood that has travelled across the seas to star in international films.

Hollywood stars have, from time to time, starred in Hindi films.

The latest actor is Will Smith, who will be seen in Karan Johar's Student Of The Year 2.

Joginder Tuteja looks at 10 actors from the West who have a Bollywood film in their resume.

Manish Malhotra recently posted the rough cut of the song Radha from Student Of The Year 2.

Will Smith takes centrestage in it, along with Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria; Tiger Shroff and Aditya Seal join in later.

The Hollywood actor had said earlier in a post -- 'I can’t dance. But I wasn’t gonna let that stop me from pursuing my #BollywoodDreams'.

We must say he looks totally at ease doing his thumkas in the song.

Sylvester Stallone
Kambakkth Ishq

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala had managed a casting coup by bringing Sylvester Stallone on board for a key sequence in Kambakkth Ishq.

And he left quite a good impression on the audience, as he rescued Kareena Kapoor in the scene.

Nadiadwala has forged a good relationship with the actor ever since and, now, Tiger Shroff will feature in the remake of his blockbuster film, Rambo.

Brandon Routh
Kambakkht Ishq

Kambakkht Ishq, which starred quite a few Hollywood actors, was shot in Los Angeles' famed Universal Studios.

Brandon Routh of Superman fame had a walk-on part as well, as Akshay Kumar played a Hollywood stuntman.

Barbara Mori
Kites

Mexican actress Barbara Mori was signed up to play the lead in Rakesh Roshan's production, Kites, which was directed by Anurag Basu and starred Hrithik Roshan.

A dance romance, the film also starred Kangana Ranaut.

Ben Kingsley
Teen Patti

After playing Gandhi in one of the most popular biopics ever made in Hollywood, Ben Kingsley took up a part in Teen Patti and shared the screen with Amitabh Bachchan.

Directed by Leena Yadav, the film marked Shraddha Kapoor's debut, but bombed at the box office.

Bo Derek
Boom

A star of the 1970s and the 1980s, Bo Derek featured in the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer, Boom.

It was a cameo role, soon forgotten in a film remembered only as Katrina Kaif's disastrous Bollywood debut.

Kylie Minogue
Blue

There was a lot of hype around the presence of Kylie Minogue in Tony D'Souza's directorial debut, Blue.

Kylie featured in A R Rahman's club dance number, Chiggy Wiggy, with Akshay Kumar and the song became a chartbuster.

She looked as easy dancing to the steps choreographed by Farah Khan as she was fielding questions by the Indian media.

Akon
Ra.One

American singer Akon sang Chammak Challo in Hindi and made it the biggest chartbuster of 2011.

Composed by Vishal-Shekhar, the song featured Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor and was probably one of the best things about the film.

Snoop Dogg
Singh Is Kinng

After Akon, Snoop Dogg went a step ahead and not only sang the title track of Singh Is Kinng but also featured in the music video.

His collaboration with Akshay Kumar was much talked about and the song was a big hit. It became so popular, in fact, that it was played every time there was major achievement by the government of the then prime minister, Manmohan Singh.

Gordon Liu
Chandni Chowk To China

Akshay Kumar has brought quite a few Hollywood stars to India; Gordon Liu too is on that list.

The veteran actor, who is known for films like Kill Bill I & II and The 36th Chamber Of Shaolin, was the key antagonist in Chandni Chowk To China.

Director Nikkhil Advani managed a casting coup by signing him up in the film, which also starred Deepika Padukone.
