Shivaraj Kumar's agility in dances and fight sequences along with Genelia's cute looks are the only saving grace in the Kannada film Sathya In Love.

The film starts off well enough and continues its good run with the help of four good songs and comedy sequences. Debutant director Raghava Loki shows a lot of promise in the way he handles the family scenes in the first half. He is ably supported by cinematographer Seenu and music director Guru Kiran.

But the film enters the boredom zone in the second half. There is too much action and mayhem to digest.

Sathya, who  enjoys his  life  with his own  group of friends and  a  well knit family  has  his own perception about love. He meets a girl on a pilgrimage to Mantralaya and is taken by her concern to help the needy.  He feels that she is his lady love and even expresses his desire to his sister and mother to marry her. Sathya then undertakes a long trip from Mantralaya to Kurnool in the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh to track her down.

The filmmaker then shows us that Kurnool is a land of bombs and gang fights, not the land of temples or mangoes for which it is otherwise famous for.  Whether Sathya wins his battle of love is what the film is all about.

Forty plus Shivaraj Kumar really surprises you with his agile moves in the fight scenes. He looks youthful and his songs with the ever smiling Genelia are really enjoyable.

Though Genelia's smiles are notable, she is found wanting in the emotional department. Sangeetha fills the bill in the sister's role. Komal strikes with his comedy punches in the first half. Telugu villains Jayaprakash Reddy, Subbaraju and Ajay provide a different platform for the film.

Sathya In Love is technically a brilliant film and you can say that Seenu and Guru Kiran are the real heroes of this venture. A little bit of crisp script work in the second half could have taken the film to higher heights.

Ismail once again shows his brilliance in creating some good sets like the coffee shop.

Sathya In Love will please mainly Shivaraj Kumar's fans.
