Are you the kind that enjoys songs with jhankaar beats in a bumpy autorickshaw? Yes? In that case, the soundtrack of Kismat is just what you need.
Like his earlier masala potboilers, Ziddi, Salakhen and Aflatoon, Kismat too boasts of flashy music and item numbers.
So we have Sunidhi Chauhan spicily crooning Mahi mahi. The opening beats of this racy number are suspiciously similar to Zamane Ko Dikhana Hai's chartbusting Dil lena khel hai dildar ka. The next track Chitto doodh kudi is no different from Mahi.

The entire soundtrack is filled with fast-paced, showpiece numbers. Still interested?
Sheen
Ashok Pandit's Sheen deals with existing terrorism in Kashmir. Interesting. I wish I could say the same about the film's music.
In true Bollywood-ishtyle patriotism, the album opens with Yeh to Kashmir hai, which pays tribute to Kashmir and its scenic beauty. Followed by the pig-headed enthusiasm of Main ladki Kashmir ki.
While O sanam kuja beri and Tum dua karo lose you in a few seconds, the Sheen theme by Tauseef Akhtar is decent. Aao jannat mein has effective lyrics by Sameer depicting the tragic state of present day Kashmir. But Nadeem-Shravan's mushy tones disrupt the song's strong sentiments. Too bad.
In a nutshell, this is Nadeem-Shravan at their mediocre best. Best avoided.
