Yami, who has kinda fallen off moviemakers's radar despite being part of the blockbuster Uri, has been signed on to star in Ginny Weds Sunny.
Directed by Puneet Khanna, Ginny Weds Sunny also features the super talented Vikrant, who has just finished shooting Meghana Gulzar's Chhapaak where he plays histrionic foil to Deepika Padukone's acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
From the sound of it, Ginny Weds Sunny seems a rom.com, a genre the intense Vikrant has not tried before.
Yami, of course, has the Meg Ryan kind of appearance tailor made for a bubblegum romance with lots of fun tucked in.
Shooting will commence after Yami finishes shooting Bala with her Vicky Donor co-actor Ayushmann Khurrana.
