The latest buzz is that the Saina Nehwal bio-pic -- Saina -- may be promoted by the badminton ace alongside Parineeti Chopra who portrays her in the film.
It would be just like M S Dhoni had participated in the promotions during the release of his biopic, with Sushant Singh Rajput.
Sources say Parineeti is too visible nowadays to make a satisfying impression on the moviegoing public.
"She was seen in The Girl On The Train, which she promoted intensely. Now she is promoting Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar which opens on March 19. Saina releases the following week," a source tells Subhash K Jha.
"By the time Parineeti comes to Saina, the audience would be suffering from an overdose," the source adds.
Of course, it remains to be seen if Saina can promote the film.
The London Olympics bronze medalist suffered an injury at the All England Championships in Birmingham on Wednseday and retired hurt.
