Keeping in view the sensitivity of the new satire Dharam Sankat Mein, the Censor Board has invited a Muslim and a Hindu religious expert as jury members to avoid any confusion or controversy over the content.
Says a source from the CBFC, “Dharam Sankat Mein is the official remake of the 2010 British comedy The Infidel directed by Josh Appignanesi. In the film, Omid Djalili starred as a British Muslim who discovers he was born of Jewish parentage. The role is played by Paresh Rawal in the remake."
According to the source, utmost caution has been exercised in censoring the film.
The film has been passed with a 'U' certificate.
