Eight Tamil films coming up in theatres near you!

Here's a look at the films. Which one are you looking forward to?

 

En Vali Thani Vali

En Vazhi Thani Vazhi is a remake of the Hindi blockbuster Ab Tak Chhappan starring Nana Patekar. 

The film is directed by Shaji Kailas and has music by Srikanth Deva.

Actor/producer R K plays the lead, supported by Meenakshi Dixit, Radha Ravi and Ashish Vidyarthi.

Enakkul Oruvan

Cast: Siddharth, Deepa Sannidhi, Srushti Dange and Aadukalam Naren

Enakkul Oruvan is a remake of the 2013 Kannada film Lucia. The film is a psychological thriller directed by debutant Prasad Ramar and produced by C V Kumar's Thirukumaran Entertainment.

Kannada actress Deepa Sannidhi plays the female lead.

With music by Santhosh Narayanan and Siddharth's recent success in Jigarthanda and Kaaviya Thalaivan, expectations are high for Enakkul Oruvan.

Bench Talkies

Bench Talkies is a collection of six short films produced by Stone Bench Creations, an initiative of Pizza director Karthik Subburaj. 

Bench Flix, their distribution arm, will release the film in select theatres in Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore and Mumbai this weekend. 

The interesting trailer, which featured Vijay Sethupathi, has caught the attention of movie buffs.

 

Rombha Nallavan Da Nee

Cast: Mirchi Senthil, Shruty, Robo Shankar, Imman Annachi

A Venkatesh has directed racy action films such as Bagavathi, Malai Malai and the more recent Sandamarutham starring Sarath Kumar.

He tries his hand at comedy for the first time with Rombha Nallavan Da Nee.

The film is produced by actors Sarvajeeth and Deepak Nair under the banner of Rendezvous Movie Makers.

It features Mirchi Senthil and Shruty in the lead.

Serndhu Polama

Cast: Vinay, Madhurima and Preethi Christina Paul

Anil Kumar, veteran director of the Malayalam film industry, makes his debut in Tamil cinema with Serndhu Polama

Vinay Rai, who was recently seen in Sundar C’s super hit Aranmanai plays the lead along with Madhurima and Preethi Christina Paul.

The film has music by Vishnu Mohan. It’s said to be a breezy romantic musical shot entirely in New Zealand.

The film also features Thalaivasal Vijay and National Award winner Thambi Ramiah.

Aaya Vada Sutta Kathai

Cast: Avitej, Supurna, Mani, Sai Prashant, Manoharan

Written and directed by N Phanindra, Aaya Vada Sutta Kathai is a comedy thriller featuring Avitej and Bengali actress Supurna. 

The music is by Shameer and Shiva S P Balaji is the producer and cinematographer.

Maha Maha

Cast: Mathivanan Sakthivel, Melissa, Indira and Nilalgal Ravi

Maha Maha is a romantic thriller, written, directed and produced by Mathivanan Sakthivel under his home banner, Sakthi Screens. 

The plot revolves around an Australian girl and has been shot in a small country town in Australia.

The film features the director himself in the lead, with Melissa and Indira playing significant roles. 
 

Murattu Kaidhi

Cast: Sudeep and Bhavana

Popular Kannada actor Sudeep received much acclaim for his stunning performance in Bachchan, a Kannada action-comedy-thriller directed by Shashank.

The film has been dubbed for the Tamil audience as Murattu Kaidhi.

A high-octane commercial entertainer, the film also features Jagapati Babu, Bhavana, Parul Yadav and Ashish Vidhyarthi.
