What does Bappida have in common with Ash, Deepika?

Bappi Lahiri's penchant for disco dancer-esque songs and tonnes of gold is the stuff Bollywood legends are made of.
So it was kind of understood that the
Ooh La La hitmaker would have a field day during his son Bappa Lahiri's
wedding and other ceremonies.
While he wore a rather subdued sherwani with his favourite gold accessories and sunglasses for the wedding, Bappi
da couldn't resist pulling out all the big guns for the
reception party with a heavily embroidered gold sherwani AND gold jewellery.
What struck us though, was the resemblance his sherwani bore to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Deepika Padukone's respective Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla
salwar kameezs that the actresses wore on separate occasions last year.
