“It was the most open secret in the industry. Sussanne and Hrithik parted three months ago. But the Roshans requested the media to withhold the news until Krissh 3 was out. Now that the film has released, the decision that was taken months ago is in the public domain," says a source.
The Roshan and Khan families have been making frantic efforts to get the estranged couple to patch things up.
But it has not worked.
Says Sussanne’s brother Zayed Khan: “My entire family has gone through hell. We tried our level-best to make them understand. But they are adults and I am sure they know what they are doing.”
Apparently Sanjay Khan, Sussanne’s father, who is very fond of Hrithik, also tried to sort things out with the couple.
Says Zayed, “Finally, if they (Hrithik and Sussanne) are at peace with their decision what anyone else says is of no consequence. We stand by whatever decision has been taken.”
