Vivek Oberoi discharged from Hinduja hospital

Film actor Vivek Oberoi was on Monday discharged from the Hinduja hospital, where he was operated upon for leg fractures sustained while shooting for a film in Kolkata, hospital sources said.

From the hospital, Vivek went straight to his Juhu residence, the sources said. He was accompanied by his father, actor Suresh Oberoi, and other family members.

I am feeling better, I am very happy that I am going back to Home. after 11 day first time I  came out  really it make me feel very good.

Speaking to reporters as he emerged from the hospital, Viviek said: "I was very scared in the ICU...it was serious. Doctor say mine was a dramatic recovery. Now that I am ok and  out I would like to thank all those people who prayed for me. I would also like to thank the doctors and the other staff of Hinduja hospital."

He said he would now focus of becoming fully fit in the shortest possible time. "I want to get back to acting and dancing as soon as possible. This has been a very scary experience...I will be very careful in the future," he added. 

Vivek suffered multiple fractures when a motorbike skidded and rammed into him during the shooting of a Mani Ratnam film on July 16.

During the treatement, Vivek had developed lung complications because of fat metabolism and was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit.
