A 23-year-old man called Somanna committed suicide by jumping into a well in Mysore on hearing the news of the sudden death of Kannada actor Vishnuvardhan today, police said. Tragically, his 22-year-old friend Kunaiaha, who tried to save him, also passed away.
The mother of the deceased claimed that her son was a fan of the late Kannada superstar. But police investigations have revealed that he had some personal problems back home, which drove him to suicide.
