Industrialist Vijaypat Singhania has now decided to turn producer.
His debut film, which will be directed by Kuku Kohli, is called Woh Tera Naam Tha. Set in Madhya Pradesh in 1956, the film is the story of a Hindustani classical music exponent and his daughter. It will star Amrish Puri, Kanchi Kaul, Gaurav Chanana, Rajeev Verma, Rajit Bedi and Prem Chopra.
Singhania has also tried his hand at textiles, hospitals, educational institutions, animal husbandry and news publications.
