The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, Zero, may have failed to work wonders at the box office but its director, Aanand L Rai, refuses to stop from doing what he believes in.
He is already making plans for his next film, which will star Varun Dhawan.
Apparently, it will be an out-of-the-box experience.
"Something neither Varun nor Aanand Rai have attempted before," a source tells Subhash K Jha.
Varun had once mentioned that he would like to do at least one unconventional film every year.
He has done Sriram Raghavan’s Badlapur and Shoojit Sircar’s October in the past. Both films fetched him immense critical glory.
Varun’s father, David Dhawan, says, "I have told Varun to do roles that challenge him as an actor with directors who tap his resources. He can do all the masala stuff with me."
