Ace director Siby Malayil is back in action with Malayalam film Njangalude Veettile Adhithikal, starring Jayaram and Priyamani in lead roles.

"The story is about how house guests influence our lives. Unwelcome guests mostly end up adding to our worries. This is the premise of my film but we have narrated our story with a tinge of humour,” Malayil said.

In the film, Jayaram plays Manoj, a lawyer, who lives with his wife Bhavana (Priyamani) and their daughter. Certain changes occur in their lives following a tragedy.

"Bhavana, my character in this film, is a housewife and she is a rather complex person. Besides all the seriousness, there are some genuine moments of humour in the story, which is fantastic,” Priyamani reveals.

Njangalude Veettile Adhithikal is produced by Galaxy Films.

K Gireesh Kumar is the scenarist. Sameer Haq and Ratheesh Vegha have worked as cinematographer and composer respectively.

The film hits the screens today, October 30.
