After playing a traditional bahu, telly star Sampada Vaze will transform into a trendy host!

The actress will host the reality show, Comedy Ka King Kaun, on SAB TV. Comedians from India and Pakistan will compete against each other. Unlike other reality shows, Sampada will not have a co-host.

Meanwhile, her show on Zee Next, Hum Tum, will come to an end soon.

"I hardly got a break in between!" Sampada exclaims. "But Comedy Ka King Kaun is a big challenge for me. I'll be anchoring a show for the first time. But I'm sure we are going to have a lot of fun. The spontaneity required in hosting a show is not easy. And although I'm nervous, I'm looking forward to it."

We've heard of stars, who love fan mail. But here's one who gets a kick out of his hate mail!

Vishal, currently playing Samrat in Dulhan, loves the hate mail he has been getting from viewers. According to him, that is proof that he has played his character realistically, and viewers cannot distinguish between the real and reel people.

Apart from Dulhan, he is also anchoring two shows on 9X, Bollywood Full and Final and Dhoom Pichak Dhoom. Apparently, both the shows are scripted by Vishal himself.

An ayurvedic doctor by education, Vishal always wanted to be in showbiz. He did a course in mass communication before entering the television industry.

Besides doing 25 TV shows, Vishal will be seen in The Awakening, a film by Dharambir Kumar. The film, scheduled for release this month, traces the lineage of the Sindhis from the time of the Indus Valley Civilisation. Noted lawyer and member of Parliament Ram Jethmalani also makes an appearance in the film.

The entertainment industry is known to have a soft spot for second generation actors, directors, producers, singers and music directors.

Ragini Khanna, better known as the beti of NDTV Imagine's Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi, is Govinda's niece. Her mother is actress Kamini Khanna, who starred in films like Delhii Heights, Salaam-E-Ishq and Aap Ki Khatir, and her brother is television actor Amit Khanna, who was seen in Star One's Yeh Dil Chaahe More.

Ragini has always wanted to make it big in the entertainment industry and started grooming herself very early.

"I have been trained in classical music and dance for more than 15 years. I entered the ad world only when I was confident of facing the camera," Ragini says. "I was lucky. In just a year, I did commercials for Godrej, Dish TV, Amul and Big Bazaar."

So how is it facing the camera as an actor? "It is difficult. I don't think I would have survived without the help of Supriya Pilgaunkar [who plays Ragini's mother in the show]. She has always given me tips on acting. Since I did not have formal training in acting, it was helpful," says the dancer-turned-actor.

So what's next on her plate? "I want to cut an album of my own and also work in a big feature film!" she exclaims. Interestingly, Ragini will start shooting for her first film in a few months. All the best, Ragini!
