Shiney Ahuja will spend the next three days in police custody.

The actor has been accused of raping his domestic help on Sunday afternoon.

Magistrate P K Choudhury set the next hearing for Thursday, June 18.

Ahuja was represented by his lawyer Shrikant Shivade. The clearly dazed actor did not speak in court and stood silently observing the proceedings. He wore a yellow T-shirt and grey jeans. He was barefoot like accused are required to be.

Three cases -- Section 342 (wrongful confinement), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 376 (rape) have been registed against the actor.
