Refuting reports of a rift over script with Akshay Kumar, Prabhudheva confirms that he is all set to start his next directorial venture Singh Is Bling with the actor.

Reports suggest that Akshay is not entirely happy with the script for Singh Is Bling and has asked for a revision.

"Not true at all," says Prabhu from Chennai, where he is spending time with his children.

"These are false reports planted to make it seem that the failure of Action Jackson has had a snowballing effect on my career. It is done to every director, who fails with a particular subject. The fact is, the less than warm response to Action Jackson has not affected our next film at all," he adds.

Prabhu says the film has been pushed ahead by two months, and the shooting will start in February.

The flak that Prabhu got for Action Jackson has not dampened his spirit.

"Akshay is very excited about the film, and so am I. It’s being designed as a full-on comedy. As for the failure of my last film, the industry seems very concerned about my future. I am not. Isn’t it normal to pull down a filmmaker after failure? When all my films were doing well, I did not speak about my success because I knew one flop would change the perception. When I didn’t think about my success, why should I be bothered about my failure?”

Akshay will be playing a Sardarji for the second time in his career, after Singh Is Kinng.

"But it’s not like Singh Is Kinng, or for that matter, my earlier collaboration with Akshay, Rowdy Rathod. That one was rowdy and brutal. This one is fun," he says.
