September 21, 2016

Looking at Angelina's relationships!

Angelina Jolie is constantly in the media spotlight, often for her love life.

September 20, the actress stunned the world when news about her filing for divorce from Brad Pitt, her husband of two years, broke.

A look at her tangled love life over the years!

The guy look familiar?

These days he sports a moustache and stubble playing Sherlock Holmes in the hit television series, Elementary.

Once upon a time, Jonny was Angelina's first hubby.

They met on the sets of her 1995 film Hackers and started dating immediately.

The relationship ended after shooting ended, but the couple re-kindled their romance the following year and were married on March 28, 1996.

Jolie wore black rubber trousers and a white T-shirt to the wedding.

In September 1997, they went their separate ways and were divorced in February 1999.

Jenny Shimizu (1996)

While filming for Firefox, Angelina fell for her co-star Jenny Shimizu.

In a 1997 interview, she confessed, 'I fell in love with her the first second I saw her. I probably would have married Jenny Shimizu if I hadn't married my husband.'

The relationship continued for three years -- Angelina was still married to Jonny Miller and later started dating other men.

Timothy Hutton (1997 to 1999)

Several reports claimed that Angelina and Timothy were an item while they were filming their 1997 film, Playing God.

Though she was quite serious about the relationship, things didn't work out as Hutton wasn't and that left Angelina heartbroken.

Billy Bob Thornton (1999 to 2003)

After a whirlwind romance, Angelina and Billy Bob Thornton got hitched on May 5, 2000.

They'd met on the sets of the 1999 film Pushing Tin. Billy was then engaged to actress Laura Dern and Jolie was reportedly seeing Timothy.

Billy dumped Dern and embarked on a bizarre relationship that reportedly included among other things storing vials of each other's blood around their necks, vampire worship and sex in the limousine on their way to an awards ceremony.

It didn't last. After being married for two years, the couple announced their separation in 2002.

Colin Farrell (2003)

Angelina and Colin met on the sets of Alexander and though they never admitted being in a relationship, they apparently hooked up for a brief time.

At the film's premiere, the Irish hellraiser declared, 'Angie's pretty close to my perfect woman.'

Colin, it was said, became obsessive, wasn't a good role model for Angie's kid Maddox, so she said bye to him.

Nicolas Cage (2003)

The same year, Angelina apparently had a fling with Nicolas Cage.

Francis Ford Coppola's nephew and Jon Voight's daughter were spotted kissing at an event after which rumours about them being involved started doing the rounds.

Neither of them has acknowledged their flirty fling.

Brad Pitt (2005 to 2016)

Angelina and Brad's romance began on the sets of Mr & Mrs Smith, but they accepted their relationship only after Pitt's divorce from Jennifer Aniston came through.

In January 2006, Angelina confirmed she was pregnant with Pitt's child and the couple announced their engagement in April 2012.

On August 23, 2014, the couple surprised everyone when they were wed at their French estate.

Now after being married for two years, Angie has filed for divorce from Brad, citing irreconcilable differences. The news was such a thunderbolt that even their buddy George Clooney was caught unawares when a CNN reporter asked him for a reaction to their split.
