Aahana Kumra shares her story: 'Last year, I had probably been through the worst illnesses! I was working round the year and the thought of even missing a day of work was out of question! In the midst of a hectic month I contracted dengue. While in the middle of shoot, I was running a temperature of 102 degrees and kept shooting till midnight before I wound up and went to the hospital to finally get my tests done. I tested postive for dengue at 4 am and was admitted into the hospital at 10 am.

'There's no medicine for dengue. I couldn't even swallow a sip of water for four days. A week later, I had drastically dropped 4 kilos and these photos are from another commercial shoot the day after I was discharged. I was out and shooting. The show must go on is the only truth in our profession! One must work, through everything.

'But the fact remains that many a times we neglect our health and in the long run it comes back and affects us adversely! With the turn of events in the world at the moment, we must not neglect our health at any cost and if that means sitting at home and doing nothing, we must find ways of being productive inside our houses! This is difficult but we must do this for our loved ones and ourselves! Put yourself first! I have learnt that through my mistakes!! Take care of yourself! Happy World Health Day to you all!''

On #WorldHealthDay promise yourself that you will never take your health for granted! You do not have to be a fitness freak but stretch, move, dance, yoga, Pilates, follow videos on YouTube, whatever it is..do something even in this lockdown period! Eat healthy, catch some sun, breathe, stay positive. Healthy mind, healthy body.'

Shraddha Kapoor says, 'So my most favourite way of staying healthy is dancing! Ever since I was a little girl, I just loved to dance! No matter the amount of mistakes (as you will see in this video) or the difficulty in steps, dancing makes me so happyyy #WorldHealthDay P.S: Fortunate to have learned from such incredible dancers & choregraphers. @boscomartis @caesar2373 & the entire amazing team. Dia Mirza posts a video and writes,'What is health? Yes, it is fitness of body and mind. Yes, this is achievable through regular physical exercise and healthy eating habits. But what i have learnt to understand over the years is good health is intrinsically connected to the health of the environment. Clean air, clean soil, clean seas, clean food and regular interaction in open spaces with nature. This leads to balance.

'This #WorldHealthDay i want to acknowledge our sanitation workers. They work in the most challenging conditions and are most often ignored and neglected by society. Especially during this time when they continue to work everyday to manage bio-medical waste and all the waste we continue to produce while we stay home. They are HEROES. @my_bmc Thinking of all these good people today and offering them my gratitude.

Jacqueline Fernandez writes, 'At a time when we sit and complain about the boredom that has crept into our lives as a result of the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, doctors and medical staff are battling on the front lines as they protect human civilisation, risking their own lives.

'On the occasion of World Health Day, my heart goes out to them as in this hour, they are soldiers, heroes and demigods.. Doctors are our first and last line of defence against the pandemic, and the least that we can do is to thank them, following the guidelines set forth by them and staying at home, no matter what!! #stayindoorssavelives #worldhealthday #strongertogether'
