Are you a fan of Vikram Seth's best-seller A Suitable Boy?
Well, it's all set to become a six-part series and the shooting starts on September 7.
Directed by Mira Nair, the book has been adapted for screen by award-winning writer Andrew Davies (Pride and Prejudice, War & Peace, Les Misérables).
The series will star Tabu, Ishaan Khatter and Tanya Maniktala.
A Suitable Boy tells the story of university student Lata (Tanya Maniktala), who comes of age in North India in 1951, at the same time as the country carves its identity as an independent nation and is about to go to the polls for its first democratic general election.
The series will air on BBC One.
