The blockbuster Superman series made its hero Christopher Reeve a star.
Now, the action hero will be back in a brand new movie.
The film, which has been on the backburner for a while, was to be directed by Charlie's Angels director Joseph McGinty Nicol, better known as McG. But according to People, the director has backed out of the project.
Apparently, McG, 34, prefered to shoot in New York, while producers Warner Bros chose the less expensive Australia.
