'When I agreed to visit Hrithikji at his residence, I was not sure of how I would be welcomed.'
'But the minute I walked into his beautiful home, I was made to feel comfortable.'
'He is humble, attentive and warm,' Anand Kumar tells Subhash K Jha.

Anand Kumar -- the mathematician behind the Super 30 success stories recently paid Hrithik Roshan a visit in Mumbai.

Hrithik will play Anand Kumar in a biopic to be directed by Vikas (Queen) Bahl.

After returning to Patna, Anand can't stop raving about Hrithik.

"He is such a big star and so handsome! But there is not an iota of vanity in him," he says.

"When I agreed to visit Hrithikji at his residence, I was not sure of how I would be welcomed. But the minute I walked into his beautiful home, I was made to feel comfortable."

"He is humble, attentive and warm."

Anand says he likes Hrithik's work.

"I don't get time to watch too many films, but I have seen Krrish and Koi... Mil Gaya and I was very impressed by Hrithikji," he adds.

Anand has been asked by the film's producers (Phantom Films, comprising Anurag Kashyap, Madhu Mantena and Vikramaditya Motwane) not to reveal details of the meeting, but sources tell us Hrithik showed a keen interest in the way Anand spoke, walked and carried himself.

"I am aware that Hrithik doesn't look anything like me," Anand says. "But I don't think the physical resemblance is as important as understanding my personality."

"I feel Hrithik with his sensitive approach to characters will be able to project my thoughts, opinions and world view better than any other actor."

Anand also enjoyed meeting Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik's father.

"I have watched his films from my college days. I loved Khubsoorat and Khatta Meetha. In fact, Rakeshji's favourite song Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai from Khatta Meetha is also my favourite."

"Everytime I feel inadequate and dissatisfied with life, I hum that song and feel okay," he says.

"I will be giving director Vikas Bahl my suggestions," Anand adds. "They will keep me in the loop throughout."

He will be back in Mumbai for a second meeting with Hrithik soon.

"My students in Patna want Hrithik to come here," says Anand.

Hrithik will shoot a part of the film in Patna.
