Station-- Another Hindi film from Bangalore

Two weeks after the release of the Hindi movie Yeh Dil Ramta Jogi made by a Bangalore-based independent film-maker, yet another Hindi movie, Station, made entirely in the city, is set to release on March 28.

Station is a crime thriller about three psychotic assassins sent to carry out a job at a deserted railway station.

A deadly mind game ensues owing to their past, where the last man standing wins, but does not live. It all happens in one night at a railway station.

Station was shot entirely between 6 pm and 6 am for 20 days, in various up market and middle-class localities of Bangalore.

Saad Khan, a techie who studied mechanical engineering in a Bangalore college, directs the film.

The producer is Sumit Ghosh, another techie from the city who also runs an independent company called Sumit Ghosh Media to promote talent.

Siddhanth Sundar, who plays one of the lead roles, studied industrial engineering in a Bangalore college.

Sameer Kevin Roy and Hardik Sha, Vibhinta Verma and Kanika Batra also star in the film.

Director Saad Khan has worked as associate director to Hindi film-maker Ashutosh Gowariker. His short film titled Another Kind Of Black was screened at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.

Khan also runs a theatre company in Bangalore called Centerstage. He makes his debut as writer and director with Station.

The music has been composed by Jeet Singh, editing is by Kenneth Sebastian and Venkat Gangadhari is the cinematographer.

Station is being released via PVR Cinemas and its release arm PVR Director's Rare, which works as a springboard for the theatrical release of critically acclaimed films and niche content from across the world.

Station will release in cinemas across Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad and Ranchi on March 28.
