After reaching out to the masses with Larencce Raghava's
Rebel, actor Prabhas is busy shooting for
Mirchi (earlier titled
Varadhi).
It is directed by newcomer Koratala Siva and produced by Pramod Uppalapati and Vamsi Krishna Reddy.
Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay play the female leads.
Sathyaraj and Nadia Moidu play Prabhas's parents. Brahmanandam, Raghubabu, Srinivas Reddy, and 'Sathyam' Rajesh are others in the star cast.
Mirchi is shot in a number of places: Italy, Pune, Lonavala, Khandala, Hyderabad, Tenkasi and Kerala, to name a few.
Devisriprasad scores the music. Madhi is the cinematographer, Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor and A S Prakash is the art director.
Mirchi is slated for a Sankranti release.
