But the makers of the film did not change the script to suit Bebo's situation, who is expecting in real life too.
Reveals her co-star Sonam Kapoor, "We didn’t accommodate her pregnancy into the plot. It was there all along in the script. If Kareena had not gotten pregnant, we would have had to use prosthetic for her character to look pregnant. So in many ways, her pregnancy is God-sent for our film."
The actress, who has collaborated with Bebo for the first time, is quite excited about working with her.
"Lolo (Karisma), Bebo (Kareena), my sister Rhea and I have always been very close," Sonam adds. "Kareena is one of my favourite actresses. It’s a pleasure to be working with her."
Veere Di Wedding also stars Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Tilsania.
Talking about them, Sonam says, "Swara and I bonded during Raanjhaana. She is my friend and sister. Talented actress Shikha Tilsania is also with us this time. She is Tiku Talsaniaji’s daughter. I am very lucky to be working with three such diverse and outstanding co-actresses."
