Siddharth will replace Fahadh Faasil in Rathish Ambat's Kammara Sambhavam.
The film also stars Dileep.
This will be Siddharth's first Malayalam film.
Kammara Sambhavam will showcase Dileep in different avatars, including that of a 94-year-old man. The shooting will start after Dileep wraps up Shafi's Two Countries and Lal's King Liar, which is being scripted by his erstwhile partner Siddique.
Kammara Sambhavam has been scripted by Murali Gopy.

Pathemaari gets a release date
In Salim Ahmad's Pathemaari, Mammootty will play Pallikkal Narayanan, who goes to the Gulf when his family faces difficult times. The film chronicles the life of Malayalis in the Gulf countries.
Ahmad has earlier directed the award-winning films Adaminte Makan Abu and Kunjananthante Kada.
Anchor-turned-actor Jewel Mary, who was recently seen in Utopiayile Rajavu, plays Mammootty's wife.
Siddique, Sreenivasan, Salim Kumar and Joy Mathew also star in the film.

Urumbukal Urangarilla promises a lot of humour
Director Jiju Asokan's Urumbukal Urangarilla is about a group of thieves, narrated with a lot of humour.
Vinay Forrt, who was noted for his role as a professor in the recent blockbuster hit Premam, plays the lead along with Chemban Vinod Jose, Aju Varghese and Ananya.
Janaki, who played a child artiste in Mammootty's Black, plays an important role.

Siddharth Bharathan recovering after the car crash
Filmmaker-actor Siddharth Bharathan is recovering from a serious head injury after his car crashed into a wall. Bharathan was driving home lare at night when the accident occurred.
Siddharth, son of legendary director Bharathan and actor KPAC Lalitha, made his debut in films as an actor in Kamal's Nammal.
Later, he directed Nidra, which was not a big success.
Early this year, he directed the hit movie, Chandrettan Evideya, starring Dileep.
