Actress Shweta Prasad, who was recently in the eye of a storm, seems to have made peace with the scandal and moved on to rebuild her life.

She has taken up a job as a script consultant with the Phantom production house which is helmed by Madhu Mantena (who produced Ghajini), Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl (who directed Queen) and Vikramaditya Motwani (who directed Lootera).

"Yes, I am a script consultant at Phantom," says Shweta. "I am essentially a curator there, assigned with the job of going through promising scripts. It’s a job I like doing as it is helping me to grow as an actor when I read the scripts.”

Shweta says this job remains until she resumes her acting career.

She dismisses reports that she has been signed by filmmaker Hansal Mehta.

“I came across a report that I had been signed for a documentary by Mr Mehta. How can I play a role in a documentary? The person who wrote this obviously has no clue what he was talking about,” laughs Shweta.

She does admit to meeting Hansal to show him her documentary. “I’ve made a documentary called Roots on Hindustani classical music. I took it to show it to Mr Hansal Mehta. His son Jay was also in his office. They seemed to like my effort. Beyond that, there is nothing. Mr Mehta has not offered me a role.”

"Shweta’s documentary on Hindustani classical music is proof of her talent," Hansal Mehta says. "I am certainly going to work with her but I haven’t decided on the project.”
