With tensions brewing between India and China at the border, the Confederation of All India Traders -- an organisation that represents the nation's shopkeepers -- has urged celebrities to stop endorsing Chinese products.
Currently, quite a few B-town bigwigs are brand ambassadors of various Chinese products.
Namrata Thakker lists them:
Aamir Khan has been the face of the Chinese handset maker Vivo since 2018.
Ranveer Singh is the face of Redmi.
Another Chinese mobile phone brand OPPO has three Bollywood celebs endorsing the product.
While Ranbir Kapoor has been signed on as the brand icon for the Reno series, OPPO has roped in Katrina Kaif and rapper Badshah as its 'Brand Friends'.
Salman Khan is the brand ambassador for the Realme 6 series.
In March, Shraddha Kapoor was announced as the brand ambassador for Realme's smart products.
Vicky Kaushal has been collaborating with OPPO for a while now.
Last year, Vicky promoted OPPO F11Pro and this April, he featured in two digital films for the brand's latest campaign #ExpertForAnExpert.
