The Madurai bench of the Madras High Court has stalled arrest warrants issued by a local court against Shilpa Shetty and Reema Sen in connection with the publication of their 'obscene' pictures in a Tamil newspaper.
Admitting a petition filed by the actresses, Justice R Raghupathy also stayed the proceedings against them in the chief judicial magistrate's court, which had on June 20 issued the arrest warrants.
