Australia is currently enjoying a taste of Bollywood.

The annual Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) awards were held on August 8, and quite a few stars made sure to attend it.

Shah Rukh Khan takes the occasion to thank the La Trobe University for 'offering a scholarship to a girl student from India for higher education and supporting the work at the Meer Foundation.'

King Khan was honoured at the IFFM with the Excellence in Cinema award, and he thanked everyone by doing his signature pose.

Shah Rukh, who shot his film Chak De! India in Australia, took a walk down memory lane and said, 'I shot a film here 12 years ago and it was a straightforward film about a man who has lost hope in life, picks on a team of girls and then they go on to win a world championship. This city had the simplicity I had seen nowhere else. When you get older like me, you realise things. I realised that film changed my life. It’s not the awards you get, it’s the part of the creating process that is an exhilarating experience for an artiste.'

Zoya Akhtar shows off the Best Film award for her film, Gully Boy.

Arjun Kapoor.

Tabu wins the Best Actress for her performance in Andhadhun.

Sriram Raghavan wins the Best Director award for Andhadhun.

Vijay Sethupathi wins the Best Actor for his Tamil film, Super Deluxe.
