This Independence Day will see two interesting movies releases, both inspired by real events.
Mission Mangal follows the inspirational effort of a bunch of woman scientists from the Indian Space Research Organisation. who successfully helmed India's first interplanetary foray, the Mars Orbiter Mission.
The ensemble cast includes Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Tapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen and Kirti Kulhari.
Batla House, on the other hand, is based on an encounter that took place in 2008. The film stars John Abhram and Mrunal Thakur.
