The world's richest man and the founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos bonded with Bollywood at a grand party thrown in his honour.

Shah Rukh Khan, Kamal Haasan, Zoya Akhtar, Vidya Balan, Farhan Akhtar, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Ritesh Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza, Pankaj Tripathi and a host of stars made sure to attend.

A R Rahman performed at the event as well.

Bezos is on a three-day visit to India, and he started it by visiting the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial at Rajghat, Delhi.

Amazon Prime unveiled shows that will join its exclusive Indian content slate, including Dilli, Bandish Bandits, Paatal Lok, Gormint, Mumbai Diaries-26/11, The Last Hour and Sons of Soil- Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Bezos was in for a Hindi movie dialogue rehearsal when he sat down with Shah Rukh Khan and Zoya Akhtar for a chat.

Khan asked Bezos to repeat the iconic Don dialogue after him: 'Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai.'

For the billionaire's convenience, the superstar replaced 'Don' with Bezos and the Hindi word 'namumkin' with its English translation 'impossible'.

'Jeff Bezos ko pakdana mushkil hi nahi impossible hai,' Bezos managed to say, and you can see his attempt in the video below.

Bezos revealed that he had 'begged' for a role in the Star Trek movies for a long time and his wish was finally fulfilled in the 2016 movie Star Trek Beyond.

The billionaire had appeared as a Starfleet official in the Justin Lin-directed sci-fi movie.

Bezos called Shah Rukh one of the most humble people he had met, prompting the actor to quip, "It is because my last few films have not worked."

Bezos is seen here with his partner Lauren Sanchez.
