Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, who is currently shooting for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's comeback film Jazbaa, took to Twitter to say that he will not make the sequel to his 2002 hit film Kaante without Sanjay Dutt.
‘Ofcourse KAANTE 2 will happen, but not without SANJAY DUTT,’ Gupta tweeted.
Dutt has been convicted for illegal possession of weapons in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blast and is currently serving his sentence at Pune's Yerwada jail.
The actor has already served 22 months of his five-year jail term.
