Salman Khan has reportedly been offered Yash Raj Films' Sultan, which will be directed by Gunday director  Ali Abbas Zafar.

Salman, apparently, is not too keen on doing the film.

"Salman is not sure he wants to do Sultan," says a source.

"It’s the role of a 40-year old boxer. It’d require a huge amount of preparation. Salman would have to change his entire physique and body language.

"It would entail many months of a strict exercise regime and a new diet control to acquire a boxer’s body. With his heavy commitments and pending court cases, Salman is not sure he can give Sultan the time, attention and single-minded focus it requires."

Interestingly, Akshay Kumar plays a boxer in Karan Malhotra’s Brothers and Aamir Khan is getting ready to play a wrestler in Nitish Tiwari’s Dangal.

The source adds: "Akshay already had a boxer’s physique. Aamir does one film at a time, so he can change his bulk and look according to the character.

"But Salman is committed to finish Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Kabi rKhan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. He can’t afford to shed his current look."
