Tiger will be launched after Loveratri releases.
Subhash K Jha reports.
Ek baar jo maine commitment kar di, uske baad tho main khud ki bhi nahin sunta (Once I have made a commitment, I don't listen even to myself),' Salman Khan told us in Wanted.
And that is true in the superstar's life as well.
Shera -- aka Gurmeet Singh Jolly, his bodyguard of 30 years -- has a son who has now come of age.
Salman is all set to launch him as a leading man.
"It was a promise Salman made to Shera when his son Tiger was born. Salman had picked up the newborn and said, 'Yeh hero banega. Main banaunga.' Shera thought it was just a passing comment made in excitement on seeing the newborn," a source close to Salman explains to me.
"But as Tiger grew older, Salman would frequently mention the boy's debut."
"In recent times, Salman has become more resolute about Tiger's launch. He reassured Shera that Tiger will be launched right after Salman's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma's Loveratri is out."
Tiger, who is training to be an actor, has assisted Director Ali Abbas Zafar on Tiger Zinda Hai.
"Salman will ensure Tiger's debut is as promising as Aayush's," says a buddy of Salman's.
"Shera can give his life for Salman. This is the least Salman can do for him."
