AR Rahman prays for Aadesh Shrivastava

Music composer Aadesh Shrivastava is fighting a tough battle against cancer at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital.

His colleague and friend AR Rahman, who recently heard about his condition, took to Twitter to wish him a speedy recovery.

‘Dear buddy Aadesh, I am devastated at hearing about your condition... Can't come to terms with it. May God help you ease your pain,’ Rahman tweeted.

Aadesh has composed songs for films like Baghban, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Chalte Chalte and Baabul, among many others.

It’s family time for Ranbir Kapoor!

 

Ranbir Kapoor, who starts shooting for his next film in the UK soon, flew to London to join his khandaan to usher in dad Rishi Kapoor's 63rd birthday on September 4.

Kapoor Sr posted a picture of himself with Ranbir and wife Neetu and wrote: ‘This afternoon at the Le Petit Maison. Thank you Ranbir for coming early.’

Behind the scenes of Singh Is Bliing

 

Choreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva is currently busy working on the final edit of his upcoming Singh Is Bliing.

Producer Ashvini Yardi shared a picture from the editing room and tweeted: ‘Final cut @PDdancing and Steven Barnard editing the film.’ 

The action-comedy, which features Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Lara Dutta and Kay Kay Menon in lead roles, will release on October 2.

Preity Zinta: Loved being a part of Sangharsh

Tanuja Chandra’s psychological crime thriller Sangharsh completed 16 years on September 3 and the film’s leading lady Preity Zinta turned to Twitter to mark the occasion.

‘Thank you @akshaykumar Tanuja Chandra & Bhatt Saheb for this incredible experience. Loved being a part of Sangharsh,’ Preity tweeted.

Salman Khan promotes Hero on Dance Plus

 

With less than a week away to go for the release of Hero, Salman Khan dropped by the sets of dance reality show Dance Plus to promote the film that marks the debut of Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi.
