With Akshay Kumar in the lead, Gabbar Is Back, which releases this week, is expected to get audiences rushing to theatres.

Though Akshay Kumar’s Baby missed the Rs 100 crore mark by a whisker, many believe that Gabbar Is Back can comfortably achieve this feat.

Here, then, we take a look at other Akshay Kumar films that have raked in the moolah over the years.

Action drama Rowdy Rathore is the biggest grosser of Akshay's career so far.

The Prabhu Deva-directed film entertainment while Akshay showcased his talent for action as well as comedy in a double role.

Welcome

But audiences loved him in this seedha-saadha avatar.  His chemistry with Katrina Kaif worked well too.

Following up on its box office success is Singh Is Bling, though there is no connection between the two.

He may have sought to underplay his part in the film, but this Sajid-Farhad affair took a decent opening.

It picked up as kids took a liking to the film and it had a stable run at the box office for a few weeks.

It broke quite a few records on satellite television.
