But it seems the duo will not team up again for now, as Shetty is back to working with his old pal Ajay Devgn.
Says the source, "The experience of making Dilwale was not a very pleasant one for Rohit. There were constant arguments, especially about the release date."
"Rohit was against releasing the film along with Bajirao Mastani but Shah Rukh insisted. The project the two of them planned together has been put on hold for now."
Instead, Rohit will focus on another Golmaal film with Ajay, and the script is being worked out.
"This will be Rohit’s fourth Golmaal outing with Ajay. They want it bigger, brighter and funnier than before," adds the source.
