Rishabh Shetty takes Kannada film Ricky to Jammu and Kashmir

The roles have been reversed for the Ulidavaru Kandanthe actor-director duo Rakshit and Rishabh Shetty.

Rishabh, who had starred in the 2014 film, will now make his directorial debut with Ricky, and has cast his Ulidavaru Kandanthe director Rakshit. The film will also star Haripriya.

The shooting is currently on in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rishabh recently shared a picture of himself on the banks of the famous Dal Lake (above) on social media.

The director will be filming at the famous Sun Temple (last seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider), the Dal Lake and Gulmarg, among other places. The film has also been shot extensively in Karkala, in coastal Karnataka.

The music is by Arjun Janya and the cinematography by Venkatesh Anguraj.

Arun Vijay in Kannada


Arun Vijay, who played a negative role in Gautham Menon's Yennai Arindhal, will make his Kannada debut in Puneet Rajkumar's 25th film.

The yet-untitled film will be directed by Tamil director M Saravanan of Engeyum Eppothum fame.

This is the second time that Puneet Rajkumar has teamed up with a Tamil director, the first being Samudrakani for the remake of Poraali, Yaare Koogadali.
