Rekha has reportedly found a new star fan in Bollywood.

Katrina Kaif, who is known to mostly hang out with her male costars on film sets, seems to have warmed up to the veteran actress while working on Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor in Srinagar.

"The two of them were constantly chatting. Katrina seemed to be collecting guru gyan from Rekha all through the schedule," a source from the sets reveals.

Rekha, who's known Katrina since her early days in Bollywood, said, "I've known her from the time she'd drop by to meet Salman, who is my neighbour (the two stars reside in Mumbai's posh suburb Bandra)."

The Super Nani actress, who plays a character called Hazrat in the film, is all praises for the director too.

"Abhishek Kapoor is a very talented boy. I am looking forward to seeing how he has interpreted the original novel (Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations, from which Fitoor is inspired)," she said.

The senior actress's character Hazrat is seen in the film through the 1970s to the present time. Aditi Rao plays the younger Hazrat in the film.

Meanwhile, Katrina refused to comment on Rekha.

A source close to the actress explained, "She doesn't want to come across as a star-struck fan."
