Everybody Loves Raymond. Literally! The popular sitcom on CBS, in all probability, will continue its run in the ninth season, mentions Hollywood Reporter.

But Raymond star Ray Romano has expressed his desire to end his stint as Raymond what with his movie career taking off. Earlier, it looked like the eighth season would not take off. Romano's costars Patricia Heaton, Peter Boyle, Doris Roberts and Brad Garrett were upset about Romano getting a fat paycheque of $1.8 million per episode.

Hollywood Reporter quoted the star saying, 'We are in the middle of deciding right now whether we are going to do another year, at the premiere of his film Eulogy.'

Scheduled to hit theatres in May, Eulogy also features Jesse Bradford, Zooey Deschanel and Kelly Preston.

Whether there will be another session of Everybody Loves Raymond remains to be seen. You can, however, catch Romano in action on big screen with Welcome To Mooseport, which will hit the marquee on February 20.
