"She (Tandon) wished to resign due to time constraints and other unavoidable circumstances because of which she would not be able to devote the time required to do justice to her duties as chairperson of CFSI," an official spokesman said. "She said she found it increasingly difficult to balance her current commitments and workload."
Tandon's resignation has been accepted by the Information and Broadcasting Minister S Jaipal reddy.
