October 03, 2013 14:13 IST
Ranveer Singh, who was rushed to a suburban Mumbai hospital on September 27 after he contracted dengue fever, is now on his way to recovery and is scheduled to be discharged from the hospital tonight.
'Your love & blessings have helped me fight this illness ! Thank you all for the warmth & wishes that helped me tide over my weakest
hour,' the actor tweeted this morning.
While he'll be free to go home, the doctors have advised complete rest for him for the next 15 days.
Ranveer contracted high fever while shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's
Gunday in Durgapur, West Bengal.
While the shooting for
Gunday was recently wrapped up, Ranveer's other big release -- Sanjay Leela Bhansali's
Ram Leela costarring Deepika Padukone -- hits the marquee on November 15.
