Actor Randhir 'Daboo' Kapoor, actresses Karisma and Kareena Kapoor's father, has been admitted to the Escorts Heart Research Institute, New Delhi, on April 29.
"He has to undergo bypass surgery. He is in the hospital and awaiting surgery, which will take place soon," a spokesperson for Escorts told rediff.com
Kapoor's new film, Honey Irani's Armaan, is lined up for release in May.
